Universal and anchor drilling rig

Drilling rig KR 800-3G

The smallest universal and anchor drilling rig from KLEMM.

Particularly compact and light. 100 kW engine output and all features of an anchor drilling rig which can be used universally.

Small but strong
The KR 800-3G is a powerful, compact drilling rig with a total weight of 9.5 t for a wide range of drilling tasks. The 100 kW CAT diesel engine complies with the current emission regulations.

Modern operation
Included as standard with delivery of the KR 800-3G is a portable radio remote control with integrated display for showing working pressures. The best part of this is that the operator of the unit can position themselves outside of the danger zone, with a perfect view of the working area, at any time.

Efficient energy use
The hydraulic system works with two main load-sensing pumps each with 120 l/min and a pressure level up to 350 bar. Optimal power distribution via Power Sharing (patented) takes places automatically as one of the elements of the Energy Efficiency Package (EEP). The EEP also includes adaptive speed adjustment of the diesel engine, adjusted to the drilling situation at hand. As well as lower noise emissions, this also contributes to fuel savings of up to approx. 25%.

Sensitive and adjustable
Many machine parameters can be set using the touchscreen installed as standard - without needing to use additional tools or to remove hoods. In the case of a fault, detailed diagnostics can be performed using the display (or using the optionally available DTR module). The control uses mobile control units with integrated CAN bus technology and highly accurate  position control of the valve pistons. Direct communication between the operator panel and control unit siginificantly reduces reaction times of the valves, making operation of the machine extremely sensitive and precise.

Modular kit
There are two different modular drill mast types available for the Drilling rig: Drill mast type 140 and drill mast type 162. Both are extendable. Recommended drives are the KLEMM rotary head KH 21
or the hydraulic drifter KD 1011.

Thanks to its universal kinematics, the light drilling rig is very versatile.

The drilling rig facilitates various configurations of the drill system, and the drill mast design.

Smart drill mast concept

The split drill mast allows for low headroom applications. The energy supply does not need to be changed.

The optional KLEMM DataLink AIR module for the transfer of machine, process and service data into the cloud.

Can be adjusted to the task at hand

  • Water pump type GAMMA 125
  • High pressure washer e.g. DYNASET
  • Lubricator
  • Installation of a lifting winch in combination with a lateral sliding carriage
  • KLEMM drilling data recording system MBS 5

Details and options

Additional components

Practical additional components such as a washer with hose drum and washing lance can be installed onto the drilling rig.

Details and options

Machine control

The machine control is protected but still easy to access. A colour LCD display and operator panel visualise important machine parameters and simplify use interaction.

Details and options

Engine compartment

The engine compartment is easily accessible for maintenance purposes.

Details and options

Slew drive

The front part is fitted with a hydraulic slew drive (rollover). Using this compact machine element, large swivel angle areas can be moved across without interruption. The two cylinders used for hydraulic fixation of the slewing head make the kinematics structure very rigid.

Details and options

Oscillating tracks

The drilling rig has individually oscillating hydraulic tracks.

Details and options

Flushing manometer

Large, easy-to-read manometers can be added to the flushing equipment of the drilling rig.

Details and options

Radio remote control

Operating all drilling, tramming and set-up functions using radio remote control is standard for this drilling rig. The most important machine and drilling process variables can be visualised on the integrated display.

Details and options

Clamping and breaking device

There is a selection of clamping and breaking devices to choose from for the drilling rig - depending on drilling diameter.
