Particularly powerful
Hydraulic drifter
KD 2117Compared to the KD 1215R, the newly developed KD 2117 hydraulic drifter is much lighter and, as the world's first overburden hydraulic drifter, has a high-pressure percussion unit and a slim striking piston which facilitates high striking frequency even with high striking mass. This, in turn, improves the energy efficiency of the percussion unit.
With its high torque, large damping and large shank adaptor connection threads, the drifter is very robust and excellently suited to overburden drilling, both individually and in a heavy double-head drilling system.
As an alternative to the conventional hydraulic damping unit, a version with a mechanical, rotating damping unit is available.
