Low weight meets performance and versatility.
Application in urban environments
In an urban environment and inside existing buildings, the KR 704-3G scores points with high performance, compact dimensions and a small weight. The drilling rig is powered by a 55 kW diesel engine which meets the newest EU and US exhaust gas standards.
Energy-efficient work
As with almost all KLEMM drilling rigs, the EEP-Package (EEP=Energy-Efficienct Power) is also included as standard with the KR 704-3G drilling rig. Fuel consumption and noise emissions are significantly reduced.
For demanding work
The kinematics of the drill mast allow the drill axis to be pivoted laterally (± 45°), improving manoeuvrability and access to drilling points in corners of the building. Special foundation work, especially micropiles for foundations and the underpinning of existing foundations with high-pressure injection columns, can be performed under difficult conditions.
Safe operation
The radio remote control of the drilling rig for all drilling, tramming and set-up functions is in accordance with EN 16228. The drilling rig complies with EN 16228, and the "SPM" mode (Special Protective Mode) is available for working without a guard under special circumstances, and the "ROM" mode (Restricted Operation Mode) for manually changing the drill rods.
Low headroom
The optional use of telescopic drill masts and a small rig width 950 mm provide ideal requirements for drilling work under challenging site conditions, such as door openings or low ceiling heights.
Powerful hydraulics
The hydraulics system rests on a load-sensing pump and a volume flow control independent of the load. For this new development, the operating pressure for drilling functions was increased to 350 bar. The design also takes into account the use of a hydraulic drifter, among other things.
