KLEMM Regional Based Donations

For many years, KLEMM Bohrtechnik, based in Drolshagen, Germany, has been supporting local charitable institutions and projects with its "Donations instead of gifts at Christmas time” campaign. The official handing over of donations, totaling € 6,300, was recently carried out by KLEMM Directors on-site in Drolshagen. The Olpe Music School Support Association, the Caritas association IN VIA and the German Children's Hospice Association each received € 1,500. A donation of € 1,800 was donated to a scholarship holder from the University of Siegen. KLEMM focused its donation efforts on youth, the arts and integration.
During the meeting with the organization representatives, Dr. Carl Hagemeyer, Managing Director at KLEMM explained: "The majority of our employees and their families are based here in South Westphalia. With this in mind we are glad to show our support for the local charities within our region."

Dr. Klaus Stocker from The Olpe Music School Support Association is pleased to receive the donation to support talented and underprivileged pupils. The association subsidises participation in concert tours and music camps and finances expensive instruments. Miriam Hubmayer described the help offered by the Children's Hospice Association. This association accompanies children and young adults with life-shortening illnesses, along with their parents and siblings, on their journey through life. Claudia Striemer from the Caritas association IN VIA is also grateful for the financial support, explaining that it will be used to offer language courses to refugees.

Additionally KLEMM is once again sponsoring an outstanding student at the University of Siegen as part of the Deutschlandstipendium. The scholarship was awarded last December.
