Since March 2022, Josephine has been part of the team as a technical product designer. She speaks about her job with enthusiasm: “Every day is different and exciting. It’s just great to take responsibility for such large drilling rigs and then see everything come together in the end.” For her, it’s more than just a job – it’s a passion that she pursues with dedication every day.
In her daily work, Josephine uses a CAD program to create 3D models and precise drawings of drilling rigs, assemblies, and individual components. “It’s incredible to plan every detail and then watch it all come together,” she says. Besides technical planning, her role involves close collaboration with design teams and other departments. “I love working in a team, bringing ideas together and making sure everything fits perfectly,” she adds.
Josephine’s passion for technology started in her childhood: “I grew up on a farm and learned early to lend a hand. I often helped my father with repairs, which naturally developed my technical skills and spatial awareness.” As a teenager, she enjoyed assembling furniture from instruction manuals – something she now looks back on with a smile: “Of course, my job today is much more complex, but in a way, it’s still similar. It’s so satisfying to see something come together and work.”
After several internships and a recommendation from her brother, she found her dream job: “It’s the perfect mix of office work, creativity, and technology. You’re always learning and exploring new areas – that’s what makes it so exciting.”
Josephine’s absolute highlight is seeing the results of her work come to life. “That feeling is priceless. That’s when you know you made the right decision!”
Beyond her technical expertise, Josephine has another talent: music. At KLEMM’s Christmas parties, she plays in the KLEMM project orchestra, creating special moments. “It’s just great to work in such an amazing team and contribute something extra with music (??? )at our events,” she says.
When asked if she would recommend her profession, Josephine doesn’t hesitate: “Absolutely! It’s a fascinating job, and the products we work with are truly unique. It’s amazing to work with such large machines and see them come to life.”
Josephine is certain she has chosen the right path. Her passion for technology and creativity make her an invaluable member of the team – something that’s evident in every project she takes on.
