Drilling Job
The Auerberg tunnel is currently being built to reduce the traffic on federal highway 2, between the end of motorway A95 and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The HTB Baugesellschaft .m.b.H from Tyrol was commissioned by the Weilheim State Building Authority to carry out the extensive rock and stabilization work required at the southern preliminary cut near Oberbau.

Drilling Method
HTB’s assignment includes the installation of approx. 7,000 linear meters of permanent soil nails, around 3,600 linear meters of permanent strand anchors with single lengths of up to 40 meters, and close to 2,600 meters of drainage boreholes.
